Mx. Macquinarey [ALIAS:] The Maker, The Doctor, The Surgeon, The Abomination [SEX:] No actual gender; assigned male [AGE:] 5,600 years old [SPECIES:] Hollow [RANK:] Leader [FACTION:] None [PERSONALITY:] For starters, an explanation of the prefix “Mx.” is in order. It’s similar in function to Ms. or Mr. in the sense that it serves as honorific language. Unlike Ms. and Mr. this provides no gender indication. Pronounced as either “Mix” or “Mux”, Mx. Macquinex has no official physical gender. It is assumed by most that one who’s accomplished so much must be a male, but it matters little to this Hollow. Mx. was a term first given by an Arrancar The Doctor created after she decided it best to stop referring to him as her father. Though male as a human being, the prefix is more often adopted than rejected by him. Mx. Macquinarey appears to have a chaotic evil personality to most, reviewing his past acts however the majority of the time his actions are those one with a truly neutral personality would make. Mx. Macquinarey is always thinking of the bigger picture and prefers not to get derailed from a path that is the surest way to bring a plan to fruition. This often leads to inaction when issues arise that have nothing to do with an end goal. However, it’s not completely uncommon for him to act in a that causes immediate chaos if these actions help to test theories related to a distant goal. If one is attempting to figure out his reason for performing a task and only looks at the proximate cause and effect, they have no hope of fully comprehending him. An individual must always expand their lens and look at broader context if they desire at least a base understanding of who Mx. Macquinarey is and what he’s after. This expansion of scope must occur at least three fold in order to fully grasps an action. Herein lies a potential flaw should one actually seek to study him. All actions no matter how seemingly chaotic are connected. All chaos which occurs at his hand contributes to his own order. He’s a clever liar, a malicious tactician, and downright ungodly foe. He is both cruel and sadistic more often than not. On the other hand, so long as mutual interest align, he can be a helpful ally, considerate counterpart, and tactful leader. It must be stated, Mx. Macquinarey is only loyal to himself. In the quest to always accomplish his goals he’s learned that successfully manipulating others yields pawns which can be extremely advantageous depending on his circumstances. He excels at delivering convincing performances regardless of the audience, exception being those who’ve been double crossed or discarded after living out their usefulness to him. It must be said that those who fall into that category are few, as he realized early on that part of maintaining a convincing performance is eliminating those who may spoil his facade by telling those he has no previous experiences with of his true nature. The secret to his mastery lies in the minds he’s consumed over the years. The minds of psychiatrists are some of the more interesting ones he’s consumed among all of those in his consortium. In some ways they have proven themselves more useful than those who worked on military advancements. The mind has revealed itself to be a thing of wonder in some of the more fascinating life forms he’s come across. Mx. Macquinarey is fearless, and highly logical. He views all people as objects and emotions as equations produced by those objects all of whom are part of a grander design. He views this design, this life, in the same regard as a mathematical matrix. All people and all things, himself included, are a part of a failed attempt at an infinite array of symbols, numbers, and expressions which only appear chaotic to those with a less keen intellect. Become conscious or aware of the common base operations or cause and effect and what appears as infinite possibilities becomes a limited pool of monotonous combinations whose "anomalies" are only slightly more interesting than the more repetitious patterns. Mx. Macquinaray spends every waking moment of everyday in thought, critical study, and reflection about reality and possibilities available within it. He is an intellectual through and through. However, unlike others of this same status, he doesn’t propose solutions for problems or seek to become the authority on any single topic in the public sphere. At least, he doesn’t for the sake of being recognized or acknowledged by his peers. If he claims that he desires to be the authority, this is only to further some agenda he’s concocted. This would imply that he values the opinions of others when it comes to his own work and desires respectability. In truth he could care less about other’s perception of him or his intellectual properties. He isn't committed to holding up the ideologies of good or evil. He is only concerned with increasing his knowledge base and as such may side with either good or evil in any moment in time. If he can experiment on allies without compromising his position, he will. In fact he will likely convince someone that they stand to gain more than they may lose, even if a procedure or experiment is untested. When he has the chance to increase his knowledge base without being checked even if it may harm others he will. He will do whatever he wants if he can get away with it and there is no one around who can stop him. He has no honor and no sense of right and wrong. In Battle... Mx. Macquinarey views battle as means to an end. He isn’t concerned with fighting for a thrill. Before even entering a battle he weighs the risks and benefits. This assessment is heavily based on both immediate and long term goals. If he wishes to test a new creation and has yet to find a guinea pig an opponent may very well serve that purpose. His use of untested elixirs and formulas in battle have gained him a somewhat sinister reputation even among fellow Hollows, fellow scientists included. Experimentation in the midst of battle has yielded bountiful knowledge in the past. It was only while defending himself from attackers that he learned that he could force a hollow to become an Arrancar if he chipped away at a Hollow's mask in the correct areas. Mx. Macquinarey may battle and think of complex strategies and counters simultaneously with no extra effort. Fights are often boring and predictable to one that fights the way that he does. He's able to devise hundreds of different options for both attacking and countering in a fraction of a second by dividing the work up among both the physicists and military strategists within his consortium. After that, he's able to choose the best options to yield the desired outcome in even less time. In fact, devising and initiating strategy are such a simple task that he can departmentalize his stream of thoughts without his efficiency being compromised quintessentially focusing on something else completely unrelated. An opponent that attempts to rush him will find that they are far less likely to defeat him than one who takes their time and develops a masterfully crafted strategic maneuver. There are no masters of hand to hand combat among his consortium so he doesn’t possess a recognizable fighting style. The majority of his techniques and abilities are best utilized at mid range to long range distance and as such he is a mid to long distance fighter. Being he must control every cell of his make up as opposed to every limb, as would a normal fighter, he is at an immediate disadvantage when an opponent who specializes in melee combat manages to close the distance. He must instantly change tactics. His defensive repertoire is more expansive than his offensive, however, it is not without limits. His defenses are the most energy consuming to assure higher probability of success. He will still attempt to place distance between himself and his attacker to conserve power. Controlling each cell individually during high speed movement presents yet another problem. When this is done, his body, more often than not, reverts into a cloud of nanoids as keeping all nanoids in body formation proves difficult. This may open him up to damage if not carefully planned. Being a battle with Mx. Macquinarey is one that occurs on the small scale, if his form is scattered, cells are unable to rely on defensive formations that are most successful when his cells are in close range. Those who use wide scale attacks which effect a wider area may make use of this weakness with far more ease than one who relies on the simplicity of sharp edged attacks. The opposite may prove true when the body is fully formed. He specializes in zoning, or controlling an opponent’s actions from a distance. This means that he rarely fights with completely assembled. Instead a few clusters of his body are usually positioned around the battlefield in small masses; enough to form usable hands. He relies on launching attacks at opponent’s blind spots while maneuvering them into traps. He makes full use of his psychiatric prowess in battles when the need arises. [APPEARANCE:] Mx. Maquinarey’s form is perhaps the strangest form among all of Hollow-kind. It's the most simplistic looking so far as Vasto Lordes go. Its structure is an architectural spin on the organic or an organic attempt at mimicking the technologically advanced. Either way, the true form of this body is lost on those who only look at the surface and don't rely on a microscope or enhanced vision. His entire form is composed of trillions upon trillions of tiny cell-sized androids or technorganic cells if you will. Each is a combination of living Hollow tissue and advanced technological micro-structures. They vary in function, color, and design. Whereas most other forms among hollow-kind posses similarities with natural near animalistic forms, his own body is something anyone would attribute to having been built by hand which in turn most often mimics an animalistic body; the human body. All of these contribute to his most commonly held form. It's not quite human in shape due to the lack of certain anatomical traits which would make him officially male or female. When fully assembled, this body stands at 5'10'' and weighs 145 lbs. The exterior is one which depicts perfectly defined musculature as would belong to a well conditioned triathlete. His limbs and neck are slightly longer than one would expect given his torso ratio. Mx. Maquinarey’s hollow mask is about the size of the average human face. It's a white so pristine it glows just by catching the most minute levels of moonlight. It stands in complete contrast to his black body and isn’t connected to it by any physical link. Instead it hovers just before his body, giving the appearance that it's connected. The color isn’t the only thing that differentiates it from the body. If one were to view his mask under a microscope, they would see tiny white crystalline fragments fused to white nanobots. The crystalline structures are pieces of his mask. Clusters of these mask fragment carrying nanobots make up different planes whose angles are changes and shape augmented. This is extremely strange to onlookers who may witness his mask instantly change facial expressions as if by magic. The emotions that he can portray are limited, but clearly get the point across. Though he’s incapable of feeling basic emotions such as anger, sadness, or happiness, he can instantly portray expressions which are the artistic epitomes of those basic feelings. For example, sadness will mimic the well known mask thought of when one pictures the “Greek Tragedy”, which is a face no living creature actually makes when saddened. It’s simply the paramount expression for the emotion. His face for anger is reminiscent of a white colored horned Japanese Hannya mask known for the fearsome expression. In mere fractions of a second the design of his mask can shuffle through his entire repertoire until he wears the face he believes most fitting, given his circumstances. The eyes behind his mask are a far cry from the red faintly glowing orbs which most hollows posses. The eyes he possesses appear to be glowing mechanical orbs. They are in fact masses of nanobots that specialize in scanning and data collection. At will he can increase or decrease the intensity of the light they emit. His eyes can be used like floodlights or the search lights of a beach lighthouse. He can also cease emitting light altogether. His movements are quite odd being that they are so precise, so intentional. For those with a uniform solid mass, that can't be disassembled and dispersed, raising an arm involves using the brain to make use of several muscles in the shoulder. The muscles used depend on the desired position of the arm, however regardless, surrounding muscles in the back and neck also move, ever so slightly, to keep those areas of the body still in there own positions. For Mx. Macquinarey however, he must control every cell which results in movements which are unnatural looking to say the least. Walking is an entirely tedious process, so instead he propels himself through the air, most often in a stiff and awkward looking position. Still, there is an unusual grace in his movements when he is completely assembled, and not a cloud-like mass of cells. [FIGHTING SKILLS:] The majority of Mx. Macquinarey's techniques and abilities rely on applying his knowledge on medical procedures and advanced physics to the battlefield. A fight with Mx. Macquinarey is truly fought on the cellular and molecular level. Tiny actions carried out correctly, with sublime precision yields massive catastrophic results. His Cubicado Hueco Destello/Cubicado Cero (Cubed Hollow Flash) for example is his standard one, but one that could only be produced none the less with extremely precise reiatsu control from a multitude of points. The reshaping of a cero increases its power by properly directing its destructive properties. What naturally wants to take on a spherical shape is forced into a cube shape. The free energies within collide with the energy reflecting structural design of the inner walls which produces even more force, which is channeled causing the attack to become supercritical. The forces comprising a normal cero are instantly dispersed among equidistant points in a spherical pattern the moment it collides with something it isn’t strong enough to punch through. Changing the shape of the cero not only allows the forces within to reach critical mass, but also allows for its destructive power to be properly channeled. The moment a side or corner of this cero meets something it isn’t strong enough to penetrate the first section to touch it shatters allowing the destructive power within to instantly spill outwards in a stream which is channeled by the portions of the cube which do not break the moment of impact. This allows for the powers to instantly rush into a smaller concentrated area rather than expanding outward in a circular blast away from the target. One without a comprehensive understanding of physics likely can not grasps this. This cero is twice as powerful as the standard circular cero. He isn't simply a master of cero. His complex grasps over theoretical energy also led to the development of his Energía Descanso Ecuación(Energy Deconstructing Equation). This is a cero based technique which relies on precise energy readings for proper conversion. A form of energy originally launched at Mx. Macquinarey is met with a grid of finely tuned spiritual force. The grid envelopes the energy, breaks down the energies without destabilizing them, then absorbs the scattered energies into it, either creating the beginnings of a cero or adding to the destructive force of a cero technique already being charged. The technique is then either instantly launched back as if it were his own or charged further. If being added to a cero which is already being charged, then its success rest on the power making up a cero being equal to or greater than the force of the incoming energy. His Cianotipo Matriz(Blueprint Matrix) offers equation skill a potential upgrade. This was developed as a Menos Grande. This is predecessor to Energy Deconstructing Equation and was later revisited and mastered in an attempt to make it stronger. The original purpose of this technique was to decipher an opponent's energy based technique in hopes of developing a way to better understand ways to avoid critical injury to his body. Due to the fact that he didn't contain near enough power to win battles using brute force as a less evolved hollow, developing a way to avoid harm was his only option. This automatically creates a secondary reiatsu deciphering grid which overlays the grid created during Energy Deconstructing Equation when it becomes obvious that it will fail. It further deciphers an energy based technique to make his defense against it more refined and increase the rate of success. After this is used, Mx. Macquinarey gains enough information about the technique to mount a more efficient counter. The attack from this point on interacts with Reversing Matrix as if it belonged to someone one tier lower than they actually are. This can only be used every other post. His final technique relies on carefully firing microscopic cero from ever cell able in a finely orchestrated pattern. His Molecular Catástrofe (Molecular Catastrophe) looks like glowing red plasma cloud. It instantly erupts from Mx. Macquinarey’s body before either quickly fading, or expands rapidly. The mass is comprised entirely of tiny cero which are unfit to travel the same distance that a normal cero would. In fact, it’s form is so tiny that it can only maintain its form over the course of a few feet. It’s true power isn’t in its initial destructive capability. It’s true power rests in the ability to destabilize masses of energy on the molecular level. The cloud of nanosized cero is most effective when it meets with larger clusters of energy, which allows for them to trigger a chain reaction. The cero strikes the smallest portions of energy masses which causes an inverse reaction, or implosion. The initial implosion releases a wave of concussive force which travels through to the next mass of energy causing it to also implode which adds to the overall destructive impact. The chain reaction acts similarly to Newton’s Cradle and creates an runaway domino effect. One tiny cero knocks a single power expressing particle out of place which causes those that were dependent on it to collapse, which knocks others out of place causing those around it to collapse, and so on and so forth. For this reason, the more masses of energy there are, the better; the less the weaker the effect. A single mass of spiritual energy causes an effect equal to an attack from someone of the Novice Rank. The area covered is also quite small. A second spiritual energy mass causes the area to increase slightly, along with the over all power which is equal to an attack from one just entering the Novice rank. Basically every additional spiritual energy source allows for the range and over all damage suffered by everyone present, save Mx, Macquinarey, increases by a tier level. This can be used once every five posts; the amount of time it takes for the mechanical portions of his technorganic form to regain their power stores by siphoning some of the bioelectrical energies from the organic portions. This is initiated similarly to lighting the wick at the end of a stick of dynamite. An incoming energy attack such as kido is the beginning of that wick which leads back to the person firing and acts to connect everyone to the resulting implosion. The technique can only be utilized when those of mid level Apprentice rank and higher are present. This is easily avoidable if targets eliminate their spiritual pressure thereby cutting the wick connecting them to is. As the technique begins and ends very quickly, it's unlikely that a target can avoid harm unless they witness the offensive defense at least once. Finally his Quebradizo Barrera (Brittle Barrier) is an offensive defense that causes cutting damage. The barrier is formed using similar methods to his Cubicado Cero in that sense that he relies on the formation of energy deflecting walls. Only instead of internal deflection, the outside is crafted to redirect momentum of forces which collide with it. Due to the size of the structure it isn't a fully stable barrier. The result is a barrier that deflects just before shattering. The stronger the force which breaks the barrier, more momentum the resulting shards posses upon the explosive shattering stage. The pieces of the barrier travel in an multi directional orbit around Mx. Macquinarey. Those in close proximity to his form when this is used suffer cutting damage completely dependent on the strength behind that which broke the barrier. [GENERAL POWERS:] The majority of his mass is composed of cells which are the perfect fusion of the technological and the organic. Trillions upon trillions of these make up his body at any point in time. They give him the ability to control everything in regards to his body. To one with his sublime form, there are no involuntary functions. Everything is voluntary, everything is controlled with absolute precision. He doesn’t possess the typical central nervous system one would expect considering the humanoid shape he assumes most often. The technological components instead offer him the ability to relay information in a similar way to wireless data communication. He can literally communicate directly with any cell or cluster of cells to get data to and from directly, instead of waiting for the nervous system to translate what is happening; pain, pleasure, etc.. The most important cells of this intricate network are those forming his Hollow mask. They act as the mainframe, or more accurately, the main-brain of the communications network that is his nervous system. His skeletal system, muscular system, integumentary system, and other systems typically dependent on a set physical structure, can be broken down and reformed at will by using the stem cell-like nanoids as he deems necessary. For example, since reaching Vasto Lorde status he no longer has the need to eat in order to fight off the threat of regression. However, if he chooses to consume, he can use the various cells comprising his technorganic form to create a digestive system tailored to that which he wishes to extract the most from what he’s consumed. The technorganic nanoids do not need to be near each other in order to communicate or function. Each is designed similarly in that they are capable of detachment from the others, free travel through the environment, and relaying data. Each is capable of joining in on the efforts to reconstruct or update hardware of other nanoids should the need arise: a new ability is devised, the organic flesh evolves, etc.. The typical design of these technorganic nanoids is extremely advanced. Each contains a similar assortment of tiny cogs, gears, blades, lenses, tubes, wires, crystalline structures, hollow point needles, and other parts which which are base components for tools like knives, microscopes, scanners, lasers, saws, and a large array of other tools which allow for Mx. Macquinarey to perform his surgical operations on the cellular and sometimes the molecular level. These also contain trace amounts of his most common drugs which add up to deliver a potent dose if more than a few hundred nanoids deliver the same formula at once. The design for the nanoids which comprise his Hollow mask as different in the sense that they are designed to keep the flow of energy into his mask fragments constant. These were actually built by the technorganic cells comprising his body so that he could change facial expressions without destroying his mask. Thanks to these nanoids, he was able to slowly break down his mask without doing harm or transforming into an Arrancar. Due to the constant flow of reiatsu funneled directly into the mask fragments they contain, it is as if they are still connected. They function similarly to the technorganic cells forming his main body with the exception of surgical or battle capabilities. The nanobots forming his eyes possess the most advanced scanning hardware of any of his technorganic cells. These are capable of analyzing substances within their visual range down to the atomic level. Each is protected from the threat of things such as electromagnetic pulses and other harmful effects that would spell doom for something that was simply machine based due to its living components. Invading organisms such as viruses which may attack the living portions can be attacked directly by the mechanical portions. The technorganic form is truly the perfect symbiotic relationship between the living and the mechanical. His body is literally highly efficient machine, but this isn't his only relationship to machinery. He also has Technopathic Influence. Sometimes referred to as mechanokinesis, or cyberkinesis, this ability allows for electronic technology within his vicinity to be sensed via techno-empathy and controlled. This not only affects technology which is powered by electricity but technology which uses alternative forms of energy such as solar, reiryoku, geothermal, etc... In the case of devices like computers, he’s able to mentally hack them via cyberlingualism and gain information. He can also corrupt data, reprogram technology or cause devices to act in accordance with his will; shut down, give false readings, self destruct, etc.. This is also a weakness due to the fact that technology such as computers are affected thus making it possible for any with access to become aware of his presence. The moment he enters an area all technology briefly, yet simultaneously goes on the fritz. This ability doesn’t add hardware functionality, but it has its uses so far as improving efficacy. The most important of his abilities is referred to as his Technorganic Energy Exchange. It's an ability born from both his own mental control and his body's design. This is perhaps his most useful ability. He is mentally aware and in control of all of his body's functions, involuntary ones don't exist for him at this point in time. Being his body is composed of advanced mechanical components and organic components often fused at the cellular level, he has the ability to utilize multiple sources of energy to contribute to his own source of power. Further still, nothing is wasted. Bio-electrical energy, the excess reiatsu referred to as spiritual pressure, and the energy from chemical reactions produced by the organic portions of his body are stored for safe keeping and use by his technological components. No energy is wasted by producing external spiritual pressure. This allows for the redistribution of energy by his mechanical parts should the organic parts become exhausted and vica-versa should the energy stores of the molecular machinery composing various parts of his person become empty. In short: so far as his energy supply goes, it lasts far longer than most others; so far as his stamina goes, it’s entire leagues beyond even the most well practiced; so far as his efficacy with energy goes, it can not be compared to the limitations of others. [EQUIPMENT:] Orbe Negación (Negation Orb) is the only item typically always on his person, however to view all inventions click here. [HISTORY:] Mx. Macquinarey was named Osiket in his past life where he lived as a human in what is now referred to as Ancient Nubia more than 5,000 years ago. He lived here prior to Egyptian invasion and was the son of a master archer and his wife. He always thought that he would follow in the footsteps of his father and head his own regiment of archers, feared throughout the ancient world. But in the end, what would that gain him? He would fight in wars for the privileged while having very little privilege of his own. Human life was so short and he didn’t want to spend his life living in the service of royalty. It was right around the time when the first pyramid was conceived that he realized that the life he was living was nothing in comparison to the life that awaited after death. It was said that those who helped to build a pyramid were guaranteed entry into the paradise of the gods. Osiket could make his parents proud and free himself from the lifelong burden of living as a warrior. He volunteered and figured after he completed the task, he would travel the world, living for himself. It was on the third day of construction that he fell to his death, splitting his head on stones below. As he lay dying he wondered if the structure he helped to build which was meant to guide the soul up and into the heavens would honor its promise. It seemed as though it had begun to. He could feel himself being painfully lifted. Sadly, upon opening his eyes he found himself being carried within the jaws of a red eyed giant. Regret was all that was on his mind and the creature sucked him in and swallow him whole. Mx. Macquinarey, was born under circumstances thought to be impossible. After centuries spent clawing out he gained control over the mind of the beast that devoured him he found himself in Menos Forest. “Why?” He spoke, instantly garnering the attention of the Menos Grande which surrounded him. He distanced himself from them desiring never to be eaten again. After years in solitude he found himself in the presence of another similar to himself. “Why?” He asked. “No…” His new neighbor replied. Years would pass where he wasn't surrounded by fellow Menos Grande attempting to eat him. Where those in his vicinity kept their distance option instead to speak with each other. Mx. Macquinarey was born not from the savage hunger most Menos Grande suffered from, but instead a strange understanding between himself and the others who could speak. Their collective genius would keep their respective genius from being lost, and devoured by one of the surrounding savages. The one with the most mastery over speech allowed the other to devour the lesser mind. “Because” Was answered with “I died”. “The air is thick with betrayal” Was answered with “Glass shatters, because it is not what it once was.” Centuries passed where wars of intellect and speech were waged. Eventually, the contests stopped, and his body began to change. Mx. Macquinarey was born a culmination of strange minds. He eventually learned that he could compartmentalize those he consumed as opposed to simply digest them. After consuming another there is an internal conversation, an interview of sorts or an analysis that goes on between the Doctor and the consumed. If the consumed hollow has nothing of mental interest to offer then they are simply discarded by being digested completely. Otherwise the mind is compartmentalized and saved as reference. The combination is like a living mental library. Mx. Macquinarey became extremely picky about those he consumed, whether Hollow or plus. This was especially the case after learning that he could force his body to become more energy efficient than most others. He reserved his appetite for those who offered new insight. He decided to only consume with higher purpose, and not just to fight off hunger. Lao Tzu was consumed in 532 B.C., Sun Tzu was consumed nearly a century later, Plato in 348 B.C., Genghis Khan was consumed for his mind in 1228, followed by George Washington in 1780, Shaka Zulu in 1828, Nikola Tesla in 1943, and many others. Those who held his interest and the only ones he viewed as suitable food sources were those genius class: philosophers, mathematicians, poets, astrophysicist, physicists, neurologist, etc. products of the arts and sciences and those coming from an academic standpoint. Not all of those that provided him nourishment were popular names in the human world. He also had his ways of pinpointing geniuses who weren’t privileged or lucky enough to gain widespread recognition. Popularity was never a requirement after all. He was not born of savage fighting, so he doesn't particularly enjoy it or enjoy being in the presence of those that do. Since his rebirth as an Adjucha nearly 3,000 years ago he's searched the world, consuming those who either changed the course of the world or those who had the potential to. He also took special interest in those Hollows which embodied more than simple animalistic forms and concepts: fear, hope, luck, despair, etc.. He himself embodied the concept of "progress" and sought the company of others to entertain hold his company. The first Hollow to be added to his collection was one he discovered hiding in the night sky. She was near helpless and found herself threatened by regression. He took it upon himself to spread rumors surrounding the skybound Hollow so that it may feed itself. Any who offer themselves up to the star would be granted a wish. This led many who sought power to seek her out, and unknowingly offer their bodies up to a Hollow who could only consume those who didn’t defend themselves against her attack. The moment she ascended into the ranks of Vasto Lord, Mx. Macquinarey sought her out himself. Not for power, but out of a need to satisfy his curiosity. As she descended from the night sky he learned that her form was composed of twin bodies. One with its left hand fused to the right hand of the other. He told her of his part in her survival and informed her that though she no longer had to worry about regressing, she could still evolve further; he could make her an Arrancar. This marked the beginning of the first of many interesting relationship between Arrancar and Hollow. There two-thousand year relationship allowed for Mx. Macquinarey to flourish in Hueco Mundo. With her protection he was able finally settle down and begin his true work. Though he considers her one of his most successful creations to date, this hasn't stopped him from his pursuit of what he would deem, unusual Hollow forms. He was able to use the minds that he gathered to their fullest potential. Without nationality, religion, or group ethics to divide them, as would be the case were they among the living, he revolutionized the field of science. He did things like create the first electrical light device, split the atom, devise the first computer model, travel through space, and map the human genome centuries before any of the living. On occasion he would give an invention to mankind, not out of the kindness of his heart, but to serve his own ends. Sometimes this resulted in the nurturing of a new genius, which he would consume at a time of his choosing. Sometimes it resulted in world war. Regardless, he was entertained none the less. His most impressive technological feat completed thus far is his own research facility. Though it already takes on the form of a massive chrome cube, the space inside is many times more expansive than the outside. This structure manipulates space within its confines and was inspired by transdimensional travel capabilities of Hollow. This ship is responsible for the popularity of one of his more well known aliases, The Cube. Lesser Hollows who lay eyes on it weren’t quite sure what to make of it. It could very well have been alive for all they knew. Those who assumed that it was would be partially correct. His research facility is the first surviving fully technorganic being he ever created, and its form was modeled after the form he originally held after becoming an Adjuchas. It was shortly after its creation that he realized he was standing at the precibus of becoming a Vasto Lorde. Only time taught him that the evolution of forms such as his own, those not based on animal autonomy were never quite predictable. The question of “What happens if his evolution is more akin to a de-evolution?” arouse. He’d spent thousands of years as an Adjucha and the form had become one he could never have imagined as a Gillian. What if his next evolutionary stage were something less than desireable? He utilized all of the Hollow based and mod soul research at his disposal to create a near exact duplicate. This clone had access to all of the knowledge and abilities of the original, with one key difference. It would remain an Adjuchas forever. This Hollow mod soul was renamed, Elcubo. It would serve as his eyes and ears as he underwent the potential ascension and explored his new form. Meanwhile Elcubo continued searching for uncanny Hollow forms; eventually discovering the secret to designing them using human souls as a base. [NOTES:] I'm on random times every day, but if I'm involved in an RP with someone I prefer to post more than once a day. |
